I participated in a sleep study which, I assume was a similar one to the
one in which you will be involved. I was isolated for 30 days. It was a
most interesting and a most marvelous experience. The person conducting the
study visits you quite often. He brought in, for me to examine, a scale
model of the brain. He brought in lectures from the ITunes store to which I
listened. He did this because I have an interest in such things. In any
case, those conducting the study try as best as they can to make your time
in isolation a pleasant one. The lab technicians were also very personable.
