Does anyone on the list use an Icom Ic703 Plus.

I'm considering getting one of those rigs if I can still find one!

I already have a Millenium Qsyer keypad and will probably get the speech board for the rig.

I have some questions.

Can the rig be controled via a computer? And if so, will Ham Radio Deluxe work with it.

If I do get this rig could someone the list give me some pointers for using it.

A few years ago I had planned to get a Ten-Tec Argonaut IV and read the digital display with an Optacon.

Of course, by the time I made up my mind the rig had been discontinued.

I'm going to try to not let this happen with the Icom.

Emotionally I still like the idea of getting a Yaesu FT817ND for qrp work but what has sold me for now on the Icom IC-703 is the built in tuner the speech board and the fact that one can program the rig's memories using the Millenium Qsyer keypad.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If anyone wishes to call I can be reached on evenings and weekends at:

Eric
