It didn't take long for me to see the error of my ways. Of course, I can't borrow my friend's bread machine since she has used it for wheat bread. My husband said he cleaned it really well, but I'm not taking a chance. I had mysterious gluten reactions over Christmas, and then I found out that my daughter (home from college) was baking with wheat flour while I was out of the house. Anyway, thanks to everyone who reminded me. Perhaps, this will get me looking at baking my own bread using my mixer and oven -- one of these days. ;-)
