Online or not really has nothing to do with it. There is a cost per credit
at colleges and actually that is quite low. I know an undergraduate 3
credit course at Towson is around a $1000 for in-state tuition (and for me
at the doctoral level and out of state, it was over $2000 a class)!

I guess I'm showing my age, but I remember when tuition for a full course
load for a semester was about $800.00
