Hi, all.

it now looks to be a virtual certainty that the XYL and I will be moving
back to Michigan.

Funding to continue my current position AT NCAR in Boulder, CO has just not
been found, and
both the XYL's and my efforts to find alternative employment out here have
not been successful.

We are now to the point where we simply have to bite the bullet, make the
decision, and work toward heading back East, since my Fall teaching semester
at Feris State University will begin August 23rd.

We are going to make the move back to Michigan in two steps--one trip in
early July to take the RV back, and the second in late July to make the
final move.

I truly appreciate everyone's support during this difficult and
disappointing time, but as we all know, life must go on, and I do need to be
thankful that I have the Ferris teaching job to return to, especially in the
current economy.

I am going to try to check into the Cross-Country Blind Ops net this
afternoon, since this may be the last time I will be able to do so, until I
get gback to Michigan later in the Summer.

If I make it, I'll be happy to help with relays. If I don't make it, I'll
be with you guys in spirit over the next two months.

After today, I'm going to have to take my antennas down, and start packing
stuff up, in preparation for the upcoming move.

I am not sure how long it will take me to get up and running again back in
Michigan, but I have been assured plenty of antenna help, which is a good
thing.

Thanks again, all, for the support, and if nothing else, I'll keep
monitoring the list as best as I can, until we get re-settled back east.
