  I'm sorry that I can't help you.  But I can help the writer of the
ungrammatical message you got, 
"This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this
computer."


  "Due" is an adjective, not an adverb.  The foregoing should have been
either 
"This operation has been canceled because of restrictions in effect on this
computer". or 
"This operation has been canceled. The cancellation is  due to restrictions
in effect on this computer."

Hi Everyone,

The subject says it all. I may have uninstalled something else by accident
while trying to uninstall Google Chrome and now I receive the following
message whenever I click on a link from within an email message:

This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this
computer. Please contact your system administrator.

OK

Can anyone tell me which program might control this and how to fix it? All
help appreciated.
