If you want to get away from screen reader specific keyboard commands,
you can press the Windows Key+B to put your focus on the system tray.
Then use your left or right arrow keys to move to the safely remove
hardware button.
From here press the applications/context Menu key. Then you can now
arrow down to the stop button.
note: I find it helps if I set the properties so that inactive icons are
always displayed. From your desktop tab to the Start Menu button.
Press the applications/context menu key. Arrow up to Properties and
press the enter key.
Press shift+control+Tab to get to the task Bar property page. Now press
the tab key to listen to the various options. I like to uncheck group
similar task bar items and uncheck the hide inactive icons boxes. Press
alt+A for apply, then tab to the OK button.
