Good point. During the 12 years I lived in Tucson, the Caravan market
carried grass fed halal lamb from Willcox,Arizona.

I Agree.
I inquired about Halal meat at a Muslim grocery store near me and whether it
was grass fed - the shopkeeper replied that Halal referred only to the
method of slaughter (he drew his finger across his throat). I asked whether
it was organic and he said no.
