I remember the days
my yearning ails
eyes wonder
my heart thunder
beating the rhythmic silence
of your memory.
Oh! My mother
how can I recall your face
effaced
sinking in shadowy images, drowned?
Your tender arms
wrapped me in childhood innocence
mother of tenderness
mother of simplicity
you exude with love
the most superb beauty
it melts the jubilation in my heart.
Mother dear
how I long for your tear
your eyes guides me
your tongue wisdom
your heart loves me
and your tender arms embrace
the rhythmic joys of my youth.

NB: A Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mothers out there.
You bring into this world those who give it hope
You bring into this world those that right its wrong
You bring into this world the joys of inhabiting the earth
your sons and daughters redeem its value
making it a hospitable, peaceful and loving place.
And there is nothing more you desire most
than to see joy and happiness in every son and daugther
and for this we are ever more grtaeful to all our mothers. .
