Hello!! In the last month, my son has had a vomiting illness twice...and they both just happened to be on days when he ate at a new gluten free place. The first place was a gluten free pizza in Kansas City. A few hours after eating, he got sick to his stomach and vomited. The second time occurred when he ate a slice of a new gluten free bread we were trying for the first time that was made in a bakery. He can eat kinnikinnick (spelling?) bread just fine and also the homemade pizza crust I make.
Could there be something additional in these other items that are making him sick and vomiting?? Is there a certain ingredient some use for baking gluten free and some dont that can make someone sick??
I am going to call the 2 places and ask for the ingredients (not specifically like measurements) so hopefully they will give them to me so maybe I can compare it to the normal bread we buy and try and find a different ingredient??
Any have any ideas??? I know he could have had the stomach bug each time..but just thought it was strange that both times were the same days he ate a new gluten free item.
Thanks so much!!
Ashley
