As soon as you apply main power to the system, keep tapping the F8
key.  A DOS menu will appear in whioch there is an option to start in
Safe Mode.

Once started in Safe Mode, you should then be able to go back into the
restore function and undo the last restore.

I have a little problem here. My dad tried to do a system restore on
his computer, but now when he tries to start the computer, it tries to
start, then shuts down. Does anyone have any idea as to how to fix
this? After a while, the computer just goes dead.
