In MS Word 2003 I go to the Tools Menu and click on Options, then in the
General Tab I look for an item called, "allow files to be openned in Reading
View" and uncheck that box. I recently had to do this again following an
auto update.
I don't know where you'd find it in MS Word 2007 though.
Thx, Albert

Subject: [VICUG-L] Word 2007 Normal View?
Hi, everyone.
Word 2007 seems to default to Print Layout View, but I don't like this
because it seems to present two pages on the screen at once. I want to make
Word default to what was Normal View in Word 2003. I've changed my view to
Outline and thought that did it, but I don't think it did. I want one page
presented at a time, and I want to make that setting the default. Which
View do I change Word to, and how do I make that view the default? Are
there any other changes that need to be made, too?
Thanks for any help any of you can provide.
Rachel
