Geoff,
Thanks for the insight. I was under the impression that raw milk would be good for me. I have now stopped using it. Am anxious to see if my health improves.

Cheers,

Robin

There has been a lot of propaganda by particular gurus in raw-foodist circles promoting the consumption of raw dairy. They make all sorts of claims:- that it is impossible to be allergic to raw dairy(false) or they blame "leaky gut" for any and all negative symptoms of raw dairy(also false). The simple fact is that the biggest no 1 reported health-issue on a RVAF(Raw Animal and Vegetable) diet is health-problems caused by raw-dairy-consumption(unsurprisingly, it's the non-raw or non-palaeo foods which cause all the problems for people on such a diet). Raw dairy is to be avoided at all costs, given the disruption it causes to one's hormonal system, the addictive opioids in it(which give one a false feeling of well-being due to them affecting the brain), the disruption caused by the excess calcium in the dairy , blocking uptake of magnesium into the body if large amounts of dairy are consumed, links made between dairy and osteoporosis(I'm just one of many whose teeth were nearly ruined as a result of consuming raw and pasteurised dairy for decades, so I know the dairy-strong-bones connection is completely false.

Fermenting dairy, eating it raw, can reduce effects(raw dairy is a little less allergenic than pasteurised dairy for example) but it's best to avoid it like the plague.

Geoff
