    Will do, Butch, and thanks for the tip.  I am not exactly sure where the 
110 volt connections are, but I would suspect they are near the lower 
left-hand corner of the unit where the power plug is.

I think I can do the cover removal and carefully stay away from that area.

I'd look at the cover, the transformer is fairly solid.  If the thing is
unplugged, the caps would discharge and they're only 18 volts or so
anyhow.  I've worked on several, and as long as you know where the 110
connections are, no danger of getting shocked.
