  I've decided to bite the bullet and start studying for the Extra. I 
have the handiham question pool and ARRL Extra Class Manual from 
bookshare which, unfortunately, seems to have many of the formulas 
omited. Any suggestions of other materials which might explain the 
theories and formulas?
