Hi Richard,

I can't remember how many pins the mini Din connector has but it's
definitely more than 2. It has some other functions on it as well. I don't
know about you but getting someone to make up cables for me can be
problematic. You can buy premade cables off the internet. HRO and other
stores may have something made up but you can also find them on Ebay. I
think that's where I bought mine. Just do a search on Ebay for TS-480 cable
ALC or some such combination and you'll find them.

Good luck and very 73.

Subject: ts480 questions

Hello;
Has anyone used this radio with an amplifier? Is the connector behind =
the mystery door a two pin connector just to key the amplifier or does =
it also have an alc connection? I'm not familiar with a minidin plug =
which is apparently used. Is this something that is readily available?
Thanks in advance
Richard
