Hi Butch, *_Congratulations Sir, So Glad For You! The 718's a pretty
"blind-doable radio, either a qsyer, or ut102, or both, plus however much
computer control you want to incorporate, will make it nicely accessible.
I've had and used one, four or five years ago, and found it a real pleasure
to use. The front firing speaker, and front faced keypad, are features
many radios would do well to incorporate. I don't have enough speciffic
remembrance of the radio however to be of any help to you in terms of
your questions. But I'm sure there's a reflector, of users, probably a
yahoo group, and it's been my experience that most of these group
participants tend to be pretty helpful. I know that the handihams folks
have had, used, recommended, and have a good bit of info about the radios,
so there's another possible source of help. *Again Sir_So Glad For You!
Enjoy, _Immensely! Danny.
