Sounds pretty neat. Am hoping to get back on the air next month. An
antenna with four traps is being designed for my location so will see how it
goes.

Barb,
It is an external keypad made for some versions of Kenwoods, Yaeshues, and
Icoms that allow you to select frequencies, bands, channels, modes and a few
other features. It is made by a guy named John Hanson and it sure saves a
lot of problems with these fancier radios with lots of menu driven choices
and modes of operation. I don't know if he is still doing it but they used
to sell for 50 dollars to the blind ham and 90 for the sighted and it was
hand built for your particular radio.
