I'm curious to know in its current form exactly what functions speak? Other than accessibility how does the transmit and receive perform? How is the battery life? Is it 2 meters only or 2 meters and 440?

I think that this is the most accessible handheld I have ever owned and the=
built in speaker is the best in any handheld I have owned.
However, I did a little modification to the radio with thelp of a sighted=
friend. The modulation is not the highest one, sowith the help of some=
instructions I got from a friend he helped me turn up the volume a bit and=
now it sounds excelent.
