well, the same as a well built car or truck I guess.
just because we can't drive those legally on the road, doesn't mean we can't
get use from them.
with the QSY'er unit, and the function microphone, the radio does become
usable, and therefore somewhat accessible.
If you use the 897 at home as a bass, you can use ham radio deluxe to
control it and get frequency, mode and S meter information spoken.
