Hello first of all, I have been able to work 449450 from downtown with both a BX8, and that somewhat talking Chinese HT. Audio quality between the two radios worked out very well in either case. You know I live in Northern Colorado I was able to do this while traveling through downtown. Now my question is how does one go about getting the 80 RRL repeater directory on the CD question I am of course just curious. I am maybe going to see a lot of my family, they all live in Southern California. In particular they live in the Pasadena area. I'm told that there are some repeaters that are not family friendly. I just don't know how it is that the FCC can allow any piece of equipment that doesn't follow rules, and good taste. I have young nieces. I would most certainly not want them to hear anything like what I've been told this particular repeater house on it. Bye for now.
