I know sighted people who say the print manual is just as bad as you're
saying, but that's typical yaesu for you. My FT-51 I rarely if ever use
anymore, manual has so many translation errors and stuff that it's about
useless sighted or other wise. Best thing is to stay far far away from yaesu
and if you won't do that, hope you can get a front panel layout and learn by
trial and error what does what on the features you don't know about. that's
how I learned my FT-51 12 years ago when I got it and still feel there are a
lot of features I don't know about yet but I program it with the software
when it will take it which is about every 5 tries, and leave it alone beyond
that. I use it maybe once a year anyway at most.
