My understanding about Icom is that the new IC-9100 is being delayed due to 
problems with getting FCC type acceptance.   It was shown at last August's 
Tokyo ham  fair and is supposed to be the replacement for the 746 series and 
also be Icom's answer to the TS-2000 with 160 through 70 cm and optional 1.2 
ghz.

While there may be display models at Dayton, I don't think anyone will be 
carrying one home with them.
