I am assuming you are refering to the most recent threads?
that would be the yaesu FT450.
there is a version with, and one without an antenna tuner...the price 
difference is $100 or so.
i think the radio can be had from any amateur equipment supplyer...AES, HRO, 
universal radio etc.
the last time I checked, the version with the tuner was $799, and the 
version without was $699, but don't quote me on that...check out the various 
ham gear websites for official info.
it has an onboard speech synth that will speak frequency, mode and s meter.
talk to Michael Ryan since he has recently perchased one.
