i got myself a cool little dehydrator at walmart, only $19.95. i put in
strawberries, sliced up, and pitted/halved cherries, and blueberries. the
instruction book said to blanch the blueberries in boiling water for a
minute prior to drying, in order to crack the skins. this only served to
make a sloppy mess all over the tray, which dried to a flaky crust. the
cherries and strawberries turned out nicely, though.
how exactly am i supposed to dry the blueberries? put them in whole?
