I went from tea, water and coffee to just tea and water, but as I increased the tea consumption I started to get reflux from it, especially green and black iced/cold tea. I mainly drink mineral water and fountain water now, but still occasionally drink black coffee (which can give me gas, though) and herbal tea (mainly dandelion root and ginger, which I so far find to be easier on my GI tract and tasty).

Ray, you mentioned the acrilamides in coffee. One thing I've always been curious about is how much of your diet is raw, especially now that I'm eating about 95% raw myself now.

I'd also like to clarify whether the diabetes you had was type 1 or type 2. You mentioned in NeanderThin that you took insulin, but never literally specified type 1.

Thanks,
Phil
