Beverle,

Atkins calls pregnenolone (preg) the "grandmother hormone" because it's the
precurser or DHEA, progesterone, and other steriod hormones. Preg is made in
the body from cholesterol.

Preg therapy has been around since the '40's. Cortisol drugs are an
offspring of preg.

According to Atkins, arthritis, MS, and Alzheimer's disease are some
conditions preg therapy may relieve or even prevent (see Atkins newsletter,
Nov '96). Another study indicates that preg may be a powerful memory
enhancing substance

You should probably have blood levels of the hormome drawn in order to know
dosage. Supplements of preg, DHEA, and melatonin can all inhance the feeling
of well being, help the recovery from disease, and restore energy.

DC = Doctor of Chiropractic
CSCS = Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (this is professional

Hope this helps.
