An accounting mentality is counterproductive in evolutionary
fitness. When I am hungry for fruit, I eat fruit. When I am hungry for
meat, I eat meat. When I am hungry for veggies, I eat veggies. Your
stomach has a brain. (It resembles that of an invertabrete, and it very
difuse thoughout the gut). Your stomach knows what it needs. Maybe
following "what I ate last week" for one week can help purge cravings, but
after that just do what comes naturally.
