Has anyone ever considered what it does to the economy of the country the money is earned in to have billions siphoned out of it, year after year, in a one-way direction? If those countries receiving remittances are also receiving foreign aid from the source countries of the remittances, then the taxpayers of those countries are paying twice...and taking a hit in the economy, too. Just something to think about when complaining about economic realities...and placing blame.
