Hello all.
I'm wondering if anyone on the list has any information about, or experience
with, using the amino acid L-glutamine to treat gastrointestinal damage
caused by celiac disease?
I myself haven't been diagnosed with celiac, but that doesn't stop
high-gluten foods like bagels and pasta from torturing me whenever I eat
them ;) I've heard that L-glutamine can be used to treat, and even heal,
intestinal damage from diseases like Crohn's and colitis as well as protect
the GI tract from recurrence of symptoms.
Does anyone know if L-glutamine is also helpful for treating celiac and
gluten intolerance?
