Hi Lou & Everyone;

If Western Electric were still making phones, we wouldn't need filters.

The phones were able to be dropped from a second story window and, they 
still worked.

I remember a house caught fire and, the case was charred but, the instrument 
still worked.

And, they had a terrific grounding system.
