A few ideas:
(1) Look for the mobile version of the site. A pc usually can work with
these stripped-down interfaces.
(2) try the site through
www.skweezer.com
which strips down sites and pages within sites.
(3) When you find a page within one of those sites that you want to
regularly visit, bookmark it. This may allow you to avoid some of the
flash.
It is unrealistic to expect a site to specificly cater to the needs of any
given user. You are not the only person that may have a hard time with a
site, and that difficulty may spread among all classes of uses not just
the blind.
