Kallie,

I'll assume you are referring to the 2 amps I mentioned in my post.

Ameritron AL-80B (single tube) current new price $1350. 1000w SSB, 800 w
CW, 500 w RTTY

Tokyo High Power HL 1.2KFX (solid state) current new price $2,500. 750 w
SSB, 630 w CW, 350 w RTTY

BTW, on your other post about sound card interfaces for the 2000: Lot's to
choose from. Rig Blaster from West Mountain, Rascal from Buxcom, Signal
Link from Tigertronics, also ones from Donner, MFJ, and a host of others.
Just be sure you get the proper cable to match the 13 pin din.

Don't know why your homebrew didn't work, but remember that there are a
couple of ptt pins on the 13 pin jack. Only 1 of them mutes the mic and
lets audio in from the rear jack. And besides being sure the pc sound
card controls are set right, there are also menu settings in the TS-2000
which need to be set right to get audio in and out via the rear jack.

73, Steve KW3A
