Sharon,

Visiting Angels is a nationwide Christian based organization.  They hire 
care givers to attend to mostly the elderly.  This can be sitting with them 
for 12 hours in a nursing home, or as Gretchen mostly does, goes to their 
home.  They do light cleaning, food preparation when needed, and take them 
wherever they need to go such as to doctor's appointments or shopping.
