There is not a co-relation directly to bone density. It sort of beats
around the bush to get there. Celiacs have low Iron levels, Low Folic Acid
Levels, and most importantly seem to have problems processing Magnesium,
Calcium, and Vitiamin D (all three of these must work together in order for
any single one to work). I recently developed problems specifically with
Vitiamin D (actually a nutrition almanac helped me out since my doctor
related it to Magnesium deficiency) and have had remarkable sucess with
eating lots of liver (warning liver is hard to handle so many butchers use
starches and flours to help out withthe handling). I hope this helps.
