My pemmican is not the same as delfuego's, proven by the sleepiness 
after eating. This disappeared after supplementing with iodine, so it 
seems the beef is mineral deficient, so not paleo.
According to J. Tennant, iodine does a lot more than just make proper 
digestion possible.

Might be worth a try to figure out if your beef was also deficient in 
something, or the fat not right somehow.
