Guess I found a solution to this problem.
I went in to Outlook Express Options under the tools menu , the Security
Page, and unchecked the thing which says something like "don't allow
attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus". Makes
me a little nervous, but people can receive my attachments now at least.
Just thought I'd pass this on to anyone interested. Thanks to those of you
who offered help.

Subject: Problem sending attachments in Outlook Express.
Hi listers,
Suddenly I can't send attachments in Outlook Express. I've had issues with
sending them to myself in the past, but have always been able to send
attachments to others. Now, without my having changed any settings, no one
seems
able to receive my attachments. They get the email without the attachment
that is supposed to accompany it. Some setting must have somehow changed,
by my inadvertent action or some other mysterious way.
Anyone have an idea which settings I could fix? I've looked through the
Outlook Express menus and found nothing obvious.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated; I really need to be able to send
attachments.
Thanks in advance.
Jan Santos
