It's a tough line to draw, especially on a legislative/regulatory level.
 It's also made worse by the fact that we're messing with two sacred cows:
 the divinity of physicians, and what we've "known" about nutrition for
fifty years.

I do think we need to continue, though.  If you look at anything science
has "known" in the past that turned out to be crap, there have been
predictable stages.  First, those who disagreed we're ignored as wing-nuts.
 Then they were persecuted vigorously by really angry people.  Next their
ideas were tried and implemented.  Finally, what they had to say became so
obvious everyone made fun of people who used to believe differently "in the
olden days."  We're into stage two, so we're making progress!
