Thermodynamic approach is clearly totally misleading as it puts all foods
together and does not account for:
- the hormonal effects of food. Particularly polyunsaturates affect insulin
resistance, the entire PPAR receptor family, prostaglandins etc.
Polysunsaturates are DRUGS which cause heart disease, cancer, ADHD,
depression, arthritis, macular degeneration, and oh yes, weight gain. And
the Western diet is flooded with the.
- the appetite whetting effect of foods. E.g. Satiety index, and the length
of satiety, e.g. the G.I.
