There are several actors with Down syndrome. Frankly, I do wish to see more people with various disabilities and I'd rather see people with is abilities in roles that portrays  
People with disabilities. There is a show called Switched at Birth in ABC Family, that not only has deaf people acting but also has lots of sign language incorporated I to the show.
