When I took all three ARRL EMCOM courses back around 2004 and 2005, they 
were all available on line, and everything was in text format.

I'd suggest either going to the arrl.org web site and looking for the course 
materials, or, call the ARRL for direction.

I'd send you my text files, but I am sure they are outdated now.

Bottom line is that unless something very regressive has happened, the 
course materials should be in text format and should be fairly accessible.

Sorry for the cross-post, but I'd like some advice from all viewpoints.

I will be taking the Arecc Level I course and it's being taught locally.  It
will last one day and the test will be taken on the same day.  I haven't
been to school for years, (grin).

The material will be presented using PowerPoint slides and the sighted folks
will be getting a copy of this material on paper.

How do you think I should handle the situation?  Should I take notes using
the BrailleSense Plus?  Should I record the presentation usinng the BSP or
cassette machine?  Is it possible to convert the material ahead of time into
text so I could read it with my BSP?  Does anyone have a text version of the
material?  (I'm assuming the material you might have from the online version
of the course would cover the same things as the course I'm taking.)

Any advice would be welcome.
