Whenever I travel, I try to find suggestions from this ListServ but I also visit
the Gluten Free Travel Site:http://www.glutenfreetravelsite.com/ NYC and
Disneyworld are rated the best gluten free places to travel. They have reviews
of places where people have tried restaurants, hotels, etc. Try it.
Check out Erin's amazing NYC blog www.glutenfreefun.com. She has all the info
about the city and the gluten-free greatness that abounds there. Enjoy your
trip!
My daughter is 15. So it was maybe 6 or 7 years ago when we went to the
American Girl store in NYC. At that time there were not the explosion of GF
options in NYC that they have today. We had lunch at a deli that was around the
corner. We found that a lot of deli's were happy to accommodate us and as long
as we did not have the bread we were fine. I suspect that today you could find
any number of great options in the area. But this is just an idea to keep in
the back of your head.
Thanks!
Sharon
