A 2.4 GHz cordless phone eats Wireless B, G, and N for breakfast. Same
goes for Bluetooth. Too much overlap between their radio bands for those
kinds of devices to share and share alike. If you have Wifi, stick to a
5.8 GHz cordless, or one of the new DECT 6.0 GHz phones to avoid
scrambling everything up.

 Cell phones use chunks of RF frequency allocations reserved for that
purpose. WiFi mostly uses bands that were previously set aside for
"Miscellaneous" use -- in particular, *some* cordless phones use some of
the same frequencies. This is only occasionally an issue because both
uses are low-power/limited range, but it does happen.
 There are a couple of different ranges used by cordless phones -- my
impression is that a range that doesn't interfere with WiFi is ubed by
most recent cordless phones. 
 Also, I'm not sure how wide a band of frequencies a cordless phone
uses -- it's possible that the interference is limited to only a few
WiFi channels and you may be able to avoid it by making another choice. 
(Typically the channel number will be a configuration option on the
router or access point...) It's worth experimenting with.

Just an FYI: I have a Dell LATITUDE D620 and use a Linksys wireless 
router. When I'm on my Panasonic cordless phone with someone and try to 
look something up on the internet it won't because the phone interferes 
with the WiFi of my laptop. My cellphone does not interfere with it. 
It's only when I'm close to the laptop with the cordless phone that it 
interferes / jambs the signal.
