if it does have some kind of option to speak current frequency, that would
be pretty cool.
From the vague discription of the voice guide feature, it sounds like it
might only say the numbers as you enter them, and state the frequency you've
just entered.
wonder if there is a work around like on the ts2000 where you can just tap
enter twice and it'll act as if you have entered 0 and just tell you the
current VFO freq.
A little on the pricy side for a general coverage handheld though isn't it?
Seems like the equivalent Icom/yaesu general communications HT's are a bit
cheaper and have more or less the same features?
perhaps not, I haven't looked in a while.
