Well, hey, Butch, to each his own, and I never criticize anyone for
their choices in things like this.

The tricky thing about the power poles is getting the terminals crimped
correctly, and getting the assemblies put together right.

How your friend reversed them is beyond me, but then again, I never say
never.

I just have to hope that I don't unwhittingly do that someday.

The nice thing about the rigrunner (if you can afford it) is that all of
your power pole connections are in one place, and you can control which
components are powered on, whether they are all powered on simultaneously,
etc.

But again, this is just my preference, and I'm sure others will have
different opinions.

That's what makes the world go round! (grin)

I've never been a fan of anderson power poles, I know some like them and
they're sort of the standard. I use the motorola plugs, the ones with
one bare and one rubber covered connector. I've used those for years.
I have a friend who says he uses wire nuts, about as universal as you
can get. <smile> You can actually reverse the power poles as a friend
of mine did one night while trying to plug stuff in under his dash and
blew a buonch of fuses. I admit they're sort of the standard, but I've
been a rebel all my life anyhow..
