Vera,
Nothing in the e-mail implied that you made a racist joke--did you really not get it?
you made a demeaning african joke ( and you are not african) -- and i was just trying to show you a similarity that it is the same as racial jokes so you can relate to how it hurts so you can listen and understand --but what was i thinking right? Look at your response, again you do not listen and see yourself as the victim?!

First, I have never and will never put anyone down. Second, I don't make racist jokes. I don't operate that way. Many people on this listserve do not agree with my views on various subjects and show that through constant personal attacks, tactics that I do not stoop to.

My first statement on the inhumanity of the couple that defrauded the nuns should have been an indicator of my feelings toward fraudulent behavior of any kind and especially towards a group of people who devote their lives to service. The second statement was obviously meant to be facetious...and all of you know that. It is just that it has become a habit to purposefully misinterpret everything I post on this board and it doesn't take much to get it started...

Get your flame on!
