Hi,
I am 3 yrs post diagnosis, age 56, female. One of those who obviously had it
my entire life, never diagnosed.
Bloodwork has been improving since diagnosis, I have no health issues, am
very physically active, even my hair which had thinned and hung limply,
straight as a stick has returned to its thick and curly (though grey) glory.
Went 3 weeks ago for my annual check up and GFR came back=42. (Creatinine
1.3 normal 0.4-1.1 mg/dL) (Urea nitrogen 23 normal 6-20 mg/dL)
At the time of my appointment for this bloodwork, I was unaware I had been
glutened a day or 2 before. A rather impressive glutening.
Is it possible the GFR was affected by the glutening?
Thank you.
This is a wonderful resource.
I will summarize.
Amy
