Does anyone know if celiac patients present with a positive ANA test? ANA
(anti-nuclear antibody) test is typically used to determine if a patient has
an autoimmune disease, and since celiac is considered an autoimmune disease,
celiac patients should have positive results for an ANA test...shouldn't
they? Has anyone diagnosed with celiac had a negative ANA test? Just
curious...mostly. Maybe the ANA is not appropriate for celiac, but if not,
why?

Thanks for any information anyone can share re: this issue...

Cheers~~Ayn in Kansas
