Thanks for all the replies about GF Vegetarian Hot Dogs.  Ironically,  as 
soon as I sent the original email I found "Tofu Pups" at Whole Foods  again.  
They are from Lightlife Foods: _www.lightlife.com_

I also heard the following from several very supportive people:  
 
"Sunshine Burgers" made from sunflower seeds & brown rice

"Not Dogs" are GF.  I found them in Wegman's.   _www.soyboy.com_
