It is traditional at the Jewish New Year to serve Honey Cake.  Here is a recipe that I thought others might enjoy.  It is very good and can be served to the entire crowd -- not just the gluten-free people.  L'Shana Tova.

Honey Cake

1 box 1-2-3 Gluten FreeŽ Yummy Yellow Cake Mix
1 cup unsalted butter/margarine, softened
1 cup sugar
4 large eggs, room temperature
1 cup honey
1/2 cup cool black coffee (can use instant if you don't have brewed)
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. allspice

1. Preheat oven to 325.  Generously spray 9x13 pan with non-stick spray.
2. In bowl of mixer with paddle attachment, place butter and sugar.  Beat well until creamy and thoroughly mixed.  Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.  Add honey and mix well.   Add 1 package 1-2-3 Gluten FreeŽ Yummy Yellow Cake Mix, spices and coffee.  Beat well.  Scrape down bowl and beat again to ensure all ingredients are thoroughly mixed together.
3.  Pour batter into pan. On middle rack of oven, bake approximately 45 minutes - 55 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.  Baking times may vary by appliance.
4. Cool, cut and serve.
